PRESERVING STORIES FOR A NEW GENERATION
These stories began long before they became books. Some were told to me by my mother and other members of my family during my childhood in Punjab. Others grew from memories of village life, farming, animals and the people around me.
More than fifty years later, I am bringing those memories together with colourful illustrations so that children today can enjoy the stories — and perhaps one day pass them on again.
